Emily Holmes

Emily focuses on Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, and Powers of Attorney. Her primary goal is to help people plan for the future. Emily is licensed in both Texas and Arkansas. She began her career in Texas where she still works with her father at The Law Office of James Holmes. Emily graduated from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas in 2017 with a degree in English Literary Studies and Art History. She then earned her Master’s Degree in English from the University of Arkansas while working as a graduate student instructor for two years.
After graduating, she earned her law degree from the University of Arkansas in 2022. During law school, she worked with the University’s Office of General Counsel, Walmart’s Consumer Protection Compliance team, the Law School’s Nonprofit Clinic, and the Honorable Timothy L. Brooks at the Western District of Arkansas. She is an active member of the Washington County and Rusk County, Texas, Bar Associations. Originally from Henderson, Texas, Emily has lived in Arkansas since 2013. In her free time, Emily enjoys long walks with her goldendoodle, Barbara Ann, spending time with her family, and dabbling in crafts of all kinds.
